Several of you have asked how my book signing event went. It was phenomenal. I sold enough to cover the cost of the hard candies I purchased, and had a chance to talk with people I haven’t seen in ages. I even had some old high school friends drive all the way across the state just to stop by and say hello.
Harold and Debora, you guys are awesome. I hope you found a great place to get dinner. =)
I couldn’t have done all of this without the loving support of my wonderful wife. Thank you, Cheryl, for putting up with my insanity.
Okay, I know I can’t remember everyone’s name that stopped by my table, but I’m going to give it a shot to see how many I can remember. If your name was left off this list, please forgive me. Send me an email to remind me.
Mickaela (a.k.a. Fred)
Harold (a.k.a. Buddy)
(* strains a brain cell trying to remember more names *) I see so many other faces in front of me, but I can’t remember the names to go with them. If you stopped by, please know that my thanks goes out to you, too!
Thank you for supporting me and coming out to say hello. I sold almost 20 books during the event, and I’ve sold several e-book copies and one paperback copy since then, so I’m considering the event quite a success. I was also able to talk to a writer who would like to interview me tomorrow for his publication. (Woo hoo!)
Which brings me to my next point, I guess. If you would like to interview me on the process of independent publishing, writing or breaking into a flooding market, feel free to give me a call. You can reach me at (918) 851-3050.
Okay, I have a lot more fiction to write tonight, and it’s already eleven pm, so I’m going to keep this short. Have a great night everyone.
